Update: December 2024

By Kristopher biernat///

On 11/22/2024 I got to marry the love of my life, a woman I have known and loved for nearly half my life. We first met and fell in love in 2012, just two years after I started writing. I’ve been doing a lot of reflection on this past decade and a half on my life with her (you can find her on Instagram here), the life I aim to have, and the work that I’ve created/the work I aim to create.

In an effort to downsize my archive I will be creating a book entitled “Bathwater: Selected Archive 2010-2025“. This book will include essentially everything I created from 2010 through the present, at least everything I feel is worth saving. I have stated in multiple interviews I wasn’t born until 2020, and that holds true. Most of my work prior to that point was written by a completely different person who has since left this mortal coil to make room for myself.

In order to help fund this book, as well as a trip/possible move to France with my wife I will be selling off originals of my photo-paintings (also referred to as my Experimental Polaroid series) as well as my Sunday Sky series. In addition to this I will be offering completely new, original Polaroids that I will take just for you. Please reach out to biernat.kristopher@gmail.com or to my about page for a catalog and pricing.

“Bathwater” is still in progress as I dig through my filing cabinets, however I will be offering it for sale once complete in January. If you are interested in a copy please reach out via the aforementioned links. While this will technically be a Lemures Books publication, I will not be doing my usual push marketing-wise as there is a great deal I am not completely satisfied with that is included solely for the sake of keeping a record of these past 15 years.

Lastly, if you are an extremely kind soul and would like to help fund our move to France please reach out! I am open to offers and donations.
