Three Poems

By Kristopher biernat///

Three unpublished poems from my archive, pictured below is the sky, almost a year ago today.

Sunday Sky 07/29/2023.

violent beds

dead paper hands grasping
language etching thought

faithless frozen sunshine,
using the whimper of the antelope
to pray for the soul of a lion:

a titan sits eating stone
to lighten atlas’ load

tiger sheets and soothing mountains

stone grey sky
creature vortex
on the brink of flagship cold

a kiss on the inside

piper, one page scale

each echo another echo
each shadow

death’s dirty perfumes
unattainable a summons- –

angel weep
matter destroyed
swallowed like atoms

milk

columbus’ wrists

likewise paper
likewise rain

echo each
shadow too
